Invaluable...

About a year ago I had a conversation with my dad that kind of stuck with me. I was asking him about my grandparents, his parents, and he told me that one thing he really appreciated about his dad is that he always gave him the opportunity to earn money. My grandfather owned a small grocery store and from what I understand, was the epitome of a hard worker. After hearing this, I have tried really hard to allow the boys the opportunity to earn money for themselves. I've got Austin mowing my lawn once a week and he is thrilled to be able to earn some cash of his own. He's learning the value of hard work. And to Austin...this is an invaluable lesson that will help him succeed as an adult. I'll go for that.
