Ready For Spring...

Okay, I know it may have only been 60 degree's out today, but I thought it was so refreshing, and even felt a tad warm! Here's a few pics of me and some of the kids enjoying the sunshine.
The boys working and imaging that there's actually a garden...

Connor is such an outdoor/all boy kind of child. He's the mini man of the house. :)

All I Can Say Is, I TRIED!

I was determined this morning to spend some one on one time with Christian. I put Grace down for a nap, got a few things done around the house, then pulled out the playdough! Wahoo! Well, five minutes into our "bonding time" Grace awakes! GRRR. It's almost as though she just KNEW she was being left out. Oh well, in the end they had fun even if two became three. :)

There's No Place Like Home...

So last weekend Chris and I went to Roseburg. Sunday Chris returned home with Austin and Connor. Halee, Grace, Christian and I stayed for an extra week with my parents. I am so happy to be home now! We had lots of fun, and I LOVE my mom and dad, but being w/out Chris was just NOT okay. Before Chris left we took the kiddies to Wildlife Safari (an animal park.) Here are a few fun pics of that. Also some Photo's of Grace hanging out at my parents, and bonding with her "Papaw." She fell in love with him. She even closed her eyes while kissing him!! Haha.

Story Time Bully

Okay, so I go to story time today. We are all having a wonderful time afterward, I'm helping my friends little girl with her craft and Grace is right behind me playing. All of a sudden, this storytime bully comes out of no where and bites the FIRE out of Grace's cheek!!! I turn around and I see his teeth marks, and my poor innocent child is HYSTERICAL!!! Meanwhile the mom is soooo sorry and doesn't know exactly what to do or say. Oh, and I can't even be thoroughly ticked because the story time bully is only around 18 months! He probably didn't know the difference between her cheek and a cream filled donut! So anyway, here is a pic. It looks MUCH better in the pic then it did when it first happened. GRRR!!!!!

Poor baby...

Grace was sick over the weekend. She had a 101 degree fever, and the runniest nose EVER!! Her brothers worry about her so much. I found them here...they had placed her in our laundry basket, and got blankets and everything. They treated her like a queen. She's doing much better now. She still has a runny nose, but no fever, thank goodness! Christian is back to picking at her again! I knew it couldn't last...

Valentine Fun

Our church had a Valentine's dance for all adults last night. Chris and I went, and it was so much fun! I tried many times to get Chris to dance a few fast songs with me, but it wasn't happening. That's okay though. Mostly all the wives boogied while hubbies sat and talked. Chris did dance some slow songs with me though. It was so fun to get AWAY from ALL the kids!!!

I'm IT...I've been tagged by Christie!

A. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning.

B. Each player answers the questions about themselves.

C. At the end of the post, the player then tags 5 other people and posts there names. And then leaves a message on their blog letting them know they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog to get the directions.

What I was doing 10 years ago
Ten years ago? I was 20, so I was Ms. little pregnant woman with my very first child! I was working as a teller at U.S Bank, and loving it! I was newly married, and still trying to adjust to living and breathing the opposite sex 24/7.

5 Things on my "To-Do" List Today
1. Be nice to my kids. Chris is snow skiing today, and I'm used to having him here on Saturdays, so I will try to not be a grump!
2. Fold towels...how flippin' exciting, huh?
3. Read to the kids.
4. Attempt to get dressed since I'm still in P.J's and it's close to 11:00 a.m.
5. Cook food from something other than a can.

3 Bad Habits I have
1. I'm too neurotic about a clean house.
2. Nagging tends to be my specialty.
3. I suck at balancing my check book

Places I have Lived
Woodstock Ga.
Acworth Ga.
Roseburg OR.

Things most people don't know about me
I don't like animals at all.
I don't like ice cream
I would love to go to Jerusalem.
I love to sing around the house all the time!

I tag, Jenny M. Jenny. S. Rachel, Tammy, and Alexis....YOU ARE IT!

My Crazy Kids...

This week is "Spirit Week" at school, and today was the designated "Crazy Hair Day." The kids LOVE this one. They do it every year. This year Austin takes the cake for crazy, or should I say TACKY hair! I can tell you this much, I won't be taking these three on ANY errands with me today...

Sister's

Grace's obsession with the piano has become worse the last several days...poor Halee and Austin can rarely practice without her crawling over to harrass them, lol. They have been pretty patient with her considering!

This pic is a few days old. It made me realize the vast age difference between these two. Halee is almost like a sweet little mini mom to Grace:)

Stars On Ice

Chris won 4 tickets on the radio last week to see "Stars On Ice" at the rose garden in Portland. My friend Tammy and I took Halee, and Tammy's daughter Ambria. It was so much fun! We had a snow storm that day and braved the roads because we just were NOT going to miss it! Our seats weren't the greatest but during intermission we noticed there were LOTS of empty seats much closer to the front, so we just sort of slipped in, and were unoticed. I felt so sneaky!!! Tammy wasn't a bit scared. I was kind of a wuss, but I'm so glad we did it. We were only 7 rows back. It was a blast!!!
