It’s not just about pizza...

When we make pizza together we don’t just slap on the ingredients. Well, I mean..we do, but without even realizing it, a whole lot more is happening. We’re spending time together, listening to music on Pandora. Taking turns to spread ingredients where we learn to work together. We nibble on ingredients which makes it super yummy to get involved. We chat, we laugh. It’s just plain fun. And when all is said and done we get to sit and eat it around the dinner table. Together.

The kids always love being dragged to our continuing education courses. They actually DO love it. Chris and I? Not so much. At least someone is having fun. 😄

Flower girls...

I’ve been receiving flowers periodically from different children over the course of around 20 years. It never gets old.

State gymnastic championship 2019

I couldn’t be more proud of these two. Grace won level 3 state with a 37.75 overall and Scarlett also walked away with an excellent score of 37.20. Their coach told me these scores are very very good for first year team BUT she also told me that scores aren’t the goal. Building character is the focus. Not all meets will be firsts. Not all meets will be equal and some will even feel like a disappointment but that is truly what builds character. I couldn’t be more proud of these girls and their hard work and dedication.
