Little homemakers...

The girls are putting their baking skills to use. Their creativity is infectious. 

Alone...

One of our favorite shows to watch is Alone. It’s a show about 10 people who are dropped off by themselves in the wilderness and left to survive. Whoever outlasts the other 9 contestants wins $500,000. The kids must have been inspired by all the cool shelters that were created. They spent around 2 hours making a shelter of their own. Ahhh...to be a kid again.

Legacy...

I am going to be a grandma. Chris is going to be a grandpa. We have a new generation on the way and my heart couldn’t be more full. Jared and Halee will be great examples....great parents....great teachers. Our grandchild will be loved unconditionally.

A true adventurer...

My boy jumped out of an airplane and didn’t die. What a rockstar.

The oh so blessed boat...

I can’t begin to describe how many wonderful memories we have created on the water. It’s the best family time we have all summer. I feel incredibly blessed at all I have to enjoy and all I have to look back on...

p.s Our sweet Connor got a job and We missed him on the boat yesterday. So proud of him.

Enjoying life...

We are just over here enjoying this beautiful world we live in. I’m trying to live in the moment and not live for what I fear of losing in the future. I have a real fear of the absence of my children. The closer they get to 18 the more this fear grows. It can make me extremely sad if I allow myself to dwell on it.  I have to remind myself that this is part of life and that what we do in the here and now is what is most important. I pray everyday and I
