Strike Three And You're Out
School was out yesterday and even though it didn't rain much, it was way too cold to go outside for long periods of time, so we mostly stuck around home. It seemed as though all day long the kids were arguing over the silliest most ridiculous things. I feel at times that I am a full time referee! Needless to say, when 8:30 pm came along I was completely thrilled. I was able to go running with a friend and that relieved some of the earlier stress. When I came home around 9:30 I came across some photo's I forgot existed. They are on the laptop I rarely use. I saw this one of my Austin and Christian and it melted my heart. They actually look happy to be sitting beside each other. I also realized that this is how it is a lot of the time, it just doesn't seem often enough! But I guess we can't live in a perfect world, and it is possible that my expectations are too high. Either way, I love each of my babies. I have to admit though, I'm really happy school is in today.

Girls Weekend
I'm currently a very happy, refreshed, rejuvenated woman at the moment. I don't know very many husbands that would take on six kids for two nights while their wife runs away on a girls weekend, but mine did because he's wonderful. There were seven of us girls there, and we just shopped, ate out, hung out and went to see the movie Dear John. We stayed up the first night until almost 4:00 am , and were exhausted Saturday, but even still it was so fun. I recommend this to any and all mothers. You WILL come home a better mother.:)

Need warmth NOW
These two images were taken last year when my oldest sister and her dear family came for a visit. I'm feeling especially cold today and it's just so darned dreary out. This pic makes me long to have a tan, and to not have a coat or sweater on at all times. It makes me want to get out and hike and go to the park. Somehow looking at this pic just makes me feel warm inside!! I'm also shocked that Grace has no hair and it's straight as a stick...weird. Oh and I had to throw the picture of Christian in, because I'm amazed at how much he grew in a year and a half. Somebody...please send sunny warm days sooooooon.
